goodbye, uncle ben
having written about you just over a week ago, it is but fitting to me now that you died on a day that it rained. looks like you'll be holding your next raindrops sooner than i thought.
you said to us last sunday that you wished you had your cousin's courage. believe me, the way you handled your condition with the same grace that was your trademark throughout your life showed me that you had so much of your own.
have a good trip. it was a worthy one down here.
